Customer Services Assistant

We are looking for a customer focused person to join our growing team as a Customer Service Advisor. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a solution to each problem using the companies own policies. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

Whilst many of the enquiries we receive are around delivery times we are keen to ensure that customers technical queries and product queries are answered quickly.

The job entails being able to:

respond promptly to customer enquiries

handle and resolve customer complaints

obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries

provide pricing and delivery information

organize workflow to meet customer timeframes

direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource

keep records of customer interactions and transactions

record details of inquiries, comments and complaints

record details of actions taken

prepare and distribute customer activity reports

support administration

communicate and coordinate with internal departments

follow up on customer interactions

provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

 

We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of customer service principles and practices, knowledge of relevant computer applications (mainly online systems and outlook), good typing ability and English, knowledge of administrative procedures, numeric, oral and written language application and some product knowledge or the ability to learn quickly.

The ideal candidate will be able to get on with a small team, have great written and verbal communication skills, listening skills and be a good problem solver. Attention to detail and accuracy is important and during the summer months the ability to work under some stress is important as we do get very busy.

 

Hours : 9-5 Monday to Friday.

Based at our Head Office in Great Witley.
